Fill a form
You don't type answers into a form yourself. Click Fill, choose the client and any documents, and Templi completes the form from what it can find, showing where each answer came from so you only need to check and correct. You can also ask Templi to fill a form from a chat.
Fill a form with the Fill button
Every form on the Forms tab has a Fill button, apart from fact finds, which are filled from the client's page.
On the Forms page, click Fill next to the form.
Under Clients, click Choose clients and pick the client. Leave it empty if the form does not need one.
Under Files and sources, drop in any documents Templi should read, such as a pension statement or your meeting notes, or click choose from Files.
If you want, add instructions under Anything the agent should know, for example Use my notes from the review meeting and leave protection blank.
Click Fill.
Templi makes a copy of the form, opens it and starts filling straight away. The original stays blank, ready for the next client.
Where Templi finds the answers
The client's record and what Templi already knows about them.
The files you attached.
Documents and files already in Templi, including meeting transcripts.
For fact finds, the answers from the client's previous fact find, including details imported from your back-office system.
Templi leaves a question blank when it cannot find the answer rather than guessing. Each answer shows why Templi chose it and which files it used. When two documents disagree, the question shows both answers so you can pick the right one.
Check and correct the answers
Type over any answer. Your changes save as you go.
Or click Generate at the top of the form to open its chat and describe the correction, for example She retired in March, so update the employment questions.
When you are happy, click Complete. If the form is linked to your back-office system, the button sends the answers there as well.
Completing a form cannot be undone. A completed form is read-only, and any answers sent to your back-office system stay there.
Fill a form without a client
Some forms describe a document rather than a person, such as a pension policy summary filled from a provider statement or a fund review filled from a factsheet. These can be filled from files alone.
Open the form from the Forms page with Edit and click Settings.
Turn off Require clients.
Click Save changes.
The Fill window now shows Clients as optional, and Fill works with just a document attached.
Ask Templi to fill a form
Fact finds: in any chat, ask Fill in Margaret Whitfield's fact find. Templi opens her fact find, or starts a new one, and fills it.
Any other form: click Fill, then Open without filling, or open a copy from the Answered tab. Click Ask Templi and ask, for example, Fill this form from the attached pension statement.
Fact finds after a meeting
After you record a meeting with the Templi Adviser desktop app, click Add or Update next to the client. Templi attaches the transcript, fills the client's fact find and marks it Review required. Open the client's Fact Find tab and click Review to check it.
Find filled forms
Every filled copy is listed on the Answered tab of the Forms page with its status, and on the Forms tab of the client's page.
