Meeting note templates
A meeting notes template tells Templi how to write up a meeting: which sections to include, in what order, and what to look out for. Your firm's default template is used for every recording, and you can pick a different one for any meeting.
Where to find it
In the sidebar, click Customise, then the Meeting notes tab, at https://app.templi.ai/customise/meeting-notes. On the Meetings page, More then Templates takes you to the same place. A template opens at https://app.templi.ai/customise/meeting-notes/<template>.
The list shows each template's name, which one is the Default, and when it was last updated. Templates marked Templi are built in, such as Annual Review and New Client Discovery.
Create a template
On the Meeting notes tab, click New.
Enter the Template name, such as Pension transfer review.
Under Structure, choose how the notes are laid out:
Fixed sections puts every section in as a heading, in your order. If a topic wasn't discussed, the notes say so.
AI chooses sections writes a section for each topic discussed, with headings that fit the meeting, and leaves out topics that weren't discussed.
Under Meeting context, describe the type of meeting and what Templi should focus on.
Click Add section (or Add topic for AI chooses sections). Give each one a title, a description of what to capture and, if it helps, an example. Drag them into the order you want.
Click Save.
Every section needs a title before you can save.
Change a built-in template
Built-in templates are read-only. Open one and click Duplicate to make your own copy, then edit and save the copy.
Set the default, duplicate or delete
Use the ... menu on a template's row, or on the template's page.
Set as default makes Templi use this template for every new recording.
Duplicate copies the template so you can adapt it.
Delete removes the template straight away. You cannot delete a built-in template.
Use a template on a meeting
Recordings use the default template automatically. To use another, open the meeting and choose a template from Write notes, or from Notes template in the meeting's More menu. Changing the template rewrites the notes, so any edits you made to them are lost. See Meetings.
Keep a separate template for each meeting type you run, such as an annual review and a new client discovery meeting, so the notes match the file note your compliance team expects.
Ask Templi to build a template
Open Ask Templi, or click Ask about this template on a template's page, and type, for example:
Create a meeting notes template for annual reviews with sections for changes in circumstances, pension contributions, ISA allowance used, protection needs and agreed actions.
Make the Annual Review template our default.
Add a section on capacity for loss to our pension transfer template.
